Hey Pieterbrns. We had not tried  rooting this Sinotec model but a good place to start would be with Kingo root. The steps you are to follow are the same as these here http://www.satechhelp.co.za/1653/Root-Ag-Chrome-Selfie Let us know should you run into any issue with Kingo and we will present you some trusty Chinese APKs you will be able to try as alternatives.
