Secure Windows 10 for my ASUS T100TAF

0 votes
Got this ASUS Transformer T100TAF-BING DK001B Laptop with Windows 8.1 from CNA. I do not want to install the Windows 10 as yet - just to make sure that it does not become paid before I secure a free copy/subscription.

Hi. This model comes with the 'Window 8.1 with Bing' edition and yes it qualifies for free Windows 10 upgrade. Since you do not wish to upgrade now, it would be best to secure a free bootable USB/DVD Windows 10 copy. Below is the course you are to take to secure a copy for your ASUS T100TAF model. The model's device drivers are available here by the way.

  1. Download the Media Creation Tool here
  2. Run it and wait patiently for the setup go gather up what it may next and click when expected to. When all is done:
  3. Run the media creation tool.
  4. Select Create installation media for another PC.
  5. Choose the language, edition, and architecture (64-bit or 32-bit) for Windows 10.
  6. Follow the steps to create the installation media (DVD or USB), and then select Finish when it’s done.
